Why do my headphones keep breaking?!

eh because you leave them on the floor and step on them thats how all my headphones broke
OP didn't state anything of that manner and also, how the hell could you not see your headphones on the floor or did you iust do that on purpose?
 
well it happens when they get knocked of table i don't notice i did feel the head phones but they had a crack in them already from it so it was to late

eh you don't have to buy expensive head phones but i would get ones from a better brand

I bought a pair of these 4 years ago, and they have served me well ever since. (they costed 300$ at that time. i got the phantom blue ones)(and it seems like some of the other colours go as low as 69$ right now because they were discontinued by the manufacturer.). the cable broke after 3 years, but nothing else. i love them.

Well of cource it was because they were (insert price here) headphones. You need 100000000000$ headphones!!!111

Nah, my friend has had 20$ headphones for 2 years and they work fine. This doesn't help anyone.

Genral rule is if a pair is cheap, the build quality is pretty bad. Either your friend takes care of it or he got that on sale.
