Probly not enough free memory on your wii.

Read the readme file that comes with the 4.1 updater im pretty sure it says you need XXXX amount of free space on your wii and if you don't it will not install properly.


Another alternative you could do it just try to update it through nintendo.

Doesn't matter how you get to 4.1 everything homebrew/backup loader wise will still work.Yes you might loose a trucha bug ios but you will still have ios249 installed and you can use it to install all your wads ext..

nowhere on the readme does it mention you need free wii blocks. i had the same problem too going from 3.2 to 4.1. First i ran the dop-ios and chose ios60 then yes to patch (hash check) then i ran wanin 4.1 updater.

oops lol i was looking at cios38_rev14's readme! MY BAD!! but im still right on the dop-ios though, well worked for me at least.
