Hacking Who is going to update straight?

Since some rumors are flying, some people are scared about updating the console, are you going to update your 3ds straight, without knowing if it will brick or not?

the majority of people who use them DO pirate though. Most of them just use homebrew as an excuse. There are some people who do only use flashcarts for homebrew purposes but there aren't enough of those type of people to justify it.

I have a DS Phat, DS Lite and DSi for my flashcarts (which is only DSTT and R4i Gold lol), so I don't have any reason for NOT updating it straight away, my 3DS will remain that way for years. Because there are barely any games on it and the ones that are coming, are worth getting, not pirating even if 3DS does get hacked. So yeah, I'll update that very min it releases. I can't wait to get eShop and the pre-paid cards for it.
