I installed the PRBoom cia and put a bunch of wads in the 3ds/prboom folder, and I got four of them working, which is great (Doom I, Doom II, TNT and Plutonia). Sadly, the other wads (Doom 64 for Doom II.wad, Master.wad, and others) don't appear on the PRBoom "choose a game" menu.

I'm still wondering how I could get the Master Levels wad to work, or maybe other wads altogether. I came across other threads about PRBoom in Retroarch, and manipulations to a cfg file. But if this way was possible for me, I would need to change a couple of things since I use PRBoom on its own (not through Retroarch).

The manipulation of the cfg file is this:

{
"path": "sdmc:/Roms/Doom_RA/BTSX_E1/doom2.wad",
"label": "Back to Saturn X - Episode 1",
"core_path": "sdmc:/retroarch/cores/prboom_libretro.cia",
"core_name": "Doom (PrBoom)",
"crc32": "",
"db_name": ""
},

(given by 30yoDoomer)

Should I just add this at the bottom of the cfg file? What would I need to change for using with my installed PRBoom cia?

If there's another way I'm happy to try anything!

the other WADs need to be "vanilla" mods like Boiled DooM and Sigil COMPAT, if these are vanilla mods:

you go into options
then general
tap left
select files preloaded at startup
type in the name of the WAD
restart PRBoom3DS

Troubleshooting:
if it locks up on the loading screen just hold down the power button
if the game keeps crashing (possibly due to loading the DEH file but not the WAD file) you have to delete the file you loaded.
