Which SD card has the emunand?

    It is the side sd card not the one in the gateway right? I am trying to use one gateway to install emunand on 2 o3ds and will everything be okay as long as I dont mess with the side sd cards?

    Yes, thats right. Gateway is a no no. I prefer luma3ds rednand.

    You can use one Gateway, but you need different SD cards (the one you put in the console) for each emunand, per console.

    It's the card on the side of the 3DS that has the emuNAND. The SD card in the red card itself is used to hold the .3DS/.3DZ games only.
    You can check with Disk Management on Windows to see if your card has an EmuNAND on it. If the card has a 1GB Unallocated space before the used partition then there is an EmuNAND there.
