Windows 7 x64 on new PC, will probably dual boot into one of the following: Ubuntu 10.4, Arch Linux, or Crunchbang, havent really decided yet, really loving windows 7 right now, so it'll be a while before i dual boot it

OS X/Windows 7 on my laptop and Ubuntu/Windows 7 on my desktop. They are all decent.

I use Linux for Android development and kernel tweaking, Windows for gaming on both computers, and OS X on my laptop because it grants far better battery life on a Mac (graphics drivers problems with bootcamp

I hate Windows, I like nothing about Microsoft.

But MAC OS is a worthless over priced yuppie thing.

I don't hate linux, just not interested enough to learn it.

I like Windows 7, first Windows I have liked in a decade.

I've used a MAC for like 3 minutes so I really can't say anything about it.

Been a Windows user since 95, and the OS that impressed me the most was Windows 7. Windows XP was good, but 7 perfected it. Vista was just terrible.

Mac OS is cheap. Like $30 for Snow Leopard around here. It's Apple's hardware in the Macs that make them expensive, not the OS.

having tried them all, i still see myself booting into Windows 7 more often jsut for the sake of photoshop and cod4

other than that, OpenSUSE comes in a close second for me

Windows 7 FTW!

I just downgraded to XP because there isn't a driver for my video capture card on my Sony VAIO Desktop Model:PCV-RS620G... :/

you could always dual boot both, so when you need to capture anything jsut boot into XP.

Windows 7. Thank u, come again.

U can always run Microsoft Virtual PC within Windows 7 and run as many copies of Windows XP as you want. I've run many before on one PC. Works like a charm. I have Windows XP on a separate hard drive as a back up and had to use it a few times. But going from Windows 7 to Windows XP is almost like going back to the stone ages but just in interface. All my games run about the same in both and I run them full screen.

And no, amptor does not pirate Windows 7.

I agree so much
Though you have great computer specs, Vista's just like shit and a heavy OS that it slows your computer with no reason
I really cannot wait for my Windows 7
Why wait when you can pirate

I dont pirate OS's that just creepy for me since there is an update that can (whatever you knwo how to call it)
I'd just wait for an original one since i dont want to risk my one and only laptop

Get the name of the update
Manage updates by yourself (no automatic download/installation)
????
Profit.

i've read on the internet microsoft has stopped users using dual boot in windows 7, it just simply won't install or something like that.
