The chances are that it will run it.

system requirements would prevent it from installing

where as I can install xp on a 550mhz PIII and 64MB ram and use it fine

win7 would never install on it

I use mostly Mac OS X 10.6 these days, but I dual boot with Vista Business.

Theres 2 reasons i will never use linux as a main os

1) no divx
2) no shockwave

I have another laptop with XP(my main one) and an external HDD split into three partitions. WBFS, NTFS for storage, & NTFS for win7.

You just need a divx player?
Try mplayer or vlc
