1. Yes, but you can only do it on the DS2 and iSMM without any extra hardware. What? Moonshell plays videos and works on all those carts.

You can't use simple labels because it's not a simple situation.

Whoops. Meant software.

I should put more detail into it. What I mean is inbuilt video player capable of playing without conversion.

@Evolve I said no one was wrong. I did search. I love how when certain forum members have alot of posts you feel like your top of the world or something. Thanks though, you could have done your reply with less ignorance. I got your point nevertheless.

As for the rest that replied...THANK YOU! Very Much. I will wait until the new cyclo comes out, which is extremely soon.

Bahaha. And I suppose you think they'll deliver on that "Superior Technical Support" as well?

It's a fucking joke, there's nothing it can do that the DSTWO can't. Except for camera support. Which only works on DSi's. And even then it's horrible.

EDIT2:

I did forget to mention that I'm talking about using the chips on a DS Lite not the DSi or DSXL. The SuperCard and Ievolution seem to unlock more exclusive features to the DSi/DSXL rather than the DSlite. Hope that helps the opinions.

@zizer - You say it is best card now with support gba and latest firmware. According to GBAT official reviews the M3DS has better gba compatibility than the SuperCard.
I love how you'll contradict yourself just to try and prove someone wrong.

I don't think that many people are bashing the cart itself. I know that I bash it not for the cart itself but for the team behind it. I think it's revolutionary, but knowing Team Cyclops...

I mean, they can't even keep a forum up and running, IIRC they're the only cart that can't play GSDD, this supposedly "premium" cart costs $15 more than the DSTWO with less features...

Anyway, you get my point.

The cyclo had really good updates for a long time....and even to this day we still get them....
They did it once....and i'm sure they can do it again....

Never said the DS2 wasn't better....I'm just saying the cyclo isn't the piece of shit everyone seems to make it out to be....

People who see your chart aren't going to see that. All they see is red for "video playing" and assume it can't play videos.

well assuming what they had said about their forum database being corrupted when they moved servers.. i dont blame them that it took a while to restore.. there are (were) people bashing the cart though, which is why i thought you were.

your comparing two different generations of carts, and it irritates me when people do this... you cant compare a cyclo-premium-era to the dstwo-premium-era. hell, i paid 63 bucks PLUS shipping (and a 3in1 which was about 25 at the time) for my cyclo 2 years ago. and it was worth every penny. however considering the dstwo it should have the price lowered.

I'm not comparing, I'm doing exactly what you're saying.

I think it's ridiculous that they're still charging $50.

Listen, TC, this is a new decade. People don't charge $50 for flashcarts anymore, the best flashcart on the market is only $35. Oh and did I mention it's better than yours?

LOWER YOUR DAMN PRICES.

you are comparing. you are comparing it to other "premium" carts of another generation ("I mean, they can't even keep a forum up and running, IIRC they're the only cart that can't play GSDD, this supposedly "premium" cart costs $15 more than the DSTWO with less features...").

i have a feeling that it will lower in price eventually (god knows why they haven't already) but what i'm trying to say was that back then the price was justified (and pointing out that it has actually dropped quite a bit since it came out).

if i'm not making too much sense, i apologize. i am quite tired.

Though I AM comparing cost in a way, I don't mean it that way, I have a massive headache and can't be bothered trying to come up with better wording, all I am saying is that this supposedly premium cart that is the CycloDS needs to lower its price.

What is exclusive to the DSTWO? I just checked their website and I saw most if not all of the same features as both of the cards named above. I skimmed through the review here http://gbatemp.net/t232281-supercard-dstwo-review nothing really stuck out except the fact that it says the card has below average build quality. Thanks for the input though.

Another World's review is old and it's using an old EOS, it's a lot better now..

Best thing about the DSTWO is this
QUOTENow, new game include some code can detect it's orginal cartridge or flash cart. When game running, these code will detect the cartridge, if it's flash cart, it will stop to work, that why some game can play, but after stage 1 will stop working. This call Anti-Piracy.
As I know, the Anti Piracy has three methods.
1. Check the cartridge speed. (all flash cart need patch, include DSTWO)
2. Check the difference from orginal cartidge and flash cart. (DSTWO cpu can emulate orginal cartidge, no patch need, others flash cart need patch.)
3. Check the CRC, if game pacthed, it will not work. (DSTWO can auto run in Intelligent clean mode)
Actually, method 2 use most. Utilizing the CPU, DSTWO can emulate orginal cartidgecan, pass through and bypass any anti-piracy measures which is the first cart to do so. Most of the games will never need to be patched to run. So DSTWO compatible will be the best and the fast.

this feature has lived up to the hype, unlike cycloDS or M3 who needs constant updates to keep up with new games.

@RoMee: Thank You. That "this feature has lived up to the hype, unlike cycloDS or M3 who needs constant updates to keep up with new games" was very helpful. Basically if updates seized for the SuperCard it should still play new roms to come in the future.
