"Out of ear" headphones? If is in ear, is "EAR"phones not "HEAD"phones, dumb naming system of things. Basically don't get any "IN EAR" headphones, that nasty earwax dirty filthy disease stuff that it can catch, or least don't share it with anyone. I never buy them cause i can't fit them in my ear comfortably without falling off. Whatever your choice is, buy one with bluetooth 4.1.

I actually own it and use it, is BT 4.0 but 4.1 just has slight more compatibility since 4.0 isn't so old, so very new devices may have it and require it but it can get buy since it also has aux 3.5MM cable if BT isn't compatible.
