Do you have model numbers/types? At present if the former is their business class range of laptops I would seriously consider the former over the cheap and cheerful lenovo stuff, if it is not the entry level lenovo then that is better in every way and might even be coaxed into doing a few games
http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-R6-M255DX.141598.0.html (HP one http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-R4-Beema.115399.0.html )

That said not many games and neither are likely to do much going forward so if the HP has a screen and keyboard you can type more happily on then that is an option.

Most new games are not focused on the CPU power, they are based on the GPU, so try to get the one that has the better GPU. as example, the HP one has almost the double GPU clock than the second one.
The Lenovo has a much higher turbo clock 3.2 GHz vs 2.4 GHz, so that depends on what are you gonna be using it for.
