I have never gotten any error before
If your IOS36 is patched, then everything else should "just work". What mod manager are you using? I prefer the latest MMM.

Do you have a custom IOS 249 installed? If not, that will explain why it isn't working.
I would recommend you to use D2X.
Jesus I have no damn idea
How do I even check what I have installed

Get Syscheck and paste here what you got. That will be the best way to know what your Wii currently got installed.

I am about to sleep I will pick this up in the morning can you explain what this tool does
Basically, it will show every IOS your Wii will have installed, with all the patches it may or may not have. That will help us know what is wrong with your system.

Make sure "<ahb_access/>" is in the meta.xml. It should go in the "<app>" section. (You can paste the ahb tag right after the "<app>" if you're not familiar with XML.)

The default meta.xml for MMM does not have the tag in it so you will get the -2011 error. (I think it's ES_NOACCESS or something like that.)

Wad manager 1.7 is old, and worked only on specific cIOS version/base.

be sure you use this wad manager, not an old one (not MMM) :
https://github.com/FIX94/Some-YAWMM-Mod/releases

don't try to reload to slot 249 or 236, this wad manager uses a clean IOS58.
you don't need anything else than clean IOS58, and the provided meta.xml, and of course updated HBC, 1.0.7 or newer, working on IOS58 too.

check your HBC is correctly running on IOS58 by pressing Home button and looking at the top right of the screen.

Just get the zip file from the link and extract the folder to your /apps folder.

Code:
/apps/yawmm/boot.dol
/apps/yawmm/icon.png
/apps/yawmm/meta.xml

I looked at the meta file and it has the ahb_access tag in it already.

you don't need it, but you can extract it too, it will not be a problem.
The homebrew channel list and launch the boot.dol, if you put the boot.elf too it's not a problem. the elf file is used to find bugs in the program in case of problem.

Really, it's ALL 3 SAME FILES for all homebrew.
there's really nothing complicated.
"boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml" Repeat for all homebrew.

I just downloaded the release zip to make sure the meta.xml was good. There is no elf file. The separate one is as Cyan said. It's got debug symbols in it.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
