ROM Hack Which HG SS translation is most complete?

this is basically for myself, although if it turns out well, I will most certainly ask for approval and try to get a project thread set up for it.

though i know it is possible, i am not entirely sure how feasable it is to do this, so for now this is just me asking for any possible helpful info in my attempts at being able to play the slot machine.

I hope either alone, or with help, I can find this elusive file that holds the one-armed-bandit so maybe this personal attempt to have slots can evolve into a project.

for my personal use, i just plan to replace the voltorb game with slots so that when I go talk to the guy at the table i play slots

but if i can get that working, a project would be in order to bring back the whole game corner, and not just the slots
(inserting all the text as they are blank in the map) (also putting the coin case back in the underground since nobody in the casino gives you one)

But like I said, until I am able to replace the voltorbs with slots, there will really be no point to restoring the game corner


*Edit* I managed to sucessfully replace the voltorb flip, but with some sort of capsule menu and not the slots

a\0\1\2 is some sort of capsules in the japanese game, and is voltorb flip in english version

does anyone know what these capsules are? im not that far in the game yet

*Edit* Kinda stumped, cause I cannot find the file containing the slot machine, so I guess I will see about dumping the memory from an emulator and see if I can find anything that way

that is if i can get the memory to dump without freezing dsmemume up

I use Rykin's translation patch. Once the English game was out, he copied the English language files over. Everything's translated, I believe.

I'm not sure if this correct, but isn't the game located in /data/data/slot.narc?
