Hacking Which firmware should i get?

Hello guys,

Well, I belive you probaly have seen this question a lot, but I just got a 3DS, and I'm planning to buy an Acekard 2i for DS roms. So, I heard there are some firmwares for this flashcart, and I don't know which one I should get, form my 2.1.0-4U 3DS. Thanks for the help :3

@OP just download the latest firmware, then you can update your 3DS to the latest firmware and have access to the latest games/eShop.

The download on the akaio site for 1.8.9z is a firmware download not a loader

No, it's not a firmware download. AKAIO is not firmware. The software that sits on your microSD and launches games, that's not firmware.

Firmware is the updates that are stored on the flash cart itself, usually to bypass DSi/3DS updates.
