Hacking Which firmware is best?

So ive had my switch on 3.0 waiting patiently for cfw/hacks. I wanted to get Mario oddysee for the kids but couldn't because I didn't want to update past 3.0
So now with all current things in the works is there any need not to update for Mario? Sorry if it's asked somewhere I no lower is better but so much is going on in the scene

Lower firmware has been hinted to have benefits for the coming exploits. Not much has been said as to what those are, or if it is still relevant. Best practice for homebrew is to never update unless it benefits the exploit in some way. I would just wait it out, or pick up another switch if you are feeling homebrew / CFW is that important to you.

As long as you dont mind having a hacked joycon / gig and dont mind booting fg via usb then i say update to 3.01 and enjoy Mario.

As mentioned above lower could be better but as of now everyone gets cfw so its up to you

Sure. Go to your bank. Ask them for a charity that works with children. Give them half of your disposable income, that raises the chances that someone who doesn't always have to ask "what to do" or "what be best" gets a better chance in life, in the future.

Also bring your Switch with you - and ask them whats best as well. The results may surprise you.

To break it down further. We don't know how the 4.1.0 software exploit will compare to the existing and currently utilized 3.0.0 software exploit.

The "what's BEST?" question, btw is the ultimate "I'll just do/buy what you say" statement to make. Its like a stamp on your forehead. It puts a smile onto the face of every salesman in the world, it screams "I really, really need service" out into the world, it show that you have no interest in any specifics, it identifies you as someone that still believes that there is a "best" product or solution for every instance. It also identifies you as someone who thinks, the way to get to know that - is to ask a random guy on the internet. Who can then supply you with all the work you never did, just condensed, for your pleasure. For free.

Its really the ultimate statement to make.

Its an ode to "I let radioshack go bankrupt, and now ask strangers on the internet for product support" mindset. Its the reason why amazon is allowed to prosper (best product is always the first one, the internet tells me about/shows me)) while not paying any taxes and letting your inner cities die out (except for shops that sell you cookies and coffee).

Its the modern persons attitude of this age.

Its also the question you ask a second time, when you haven't understood the explaination given to you, its... simply the ultimate statement to make.

It gets you through your voting duties, through decision processes in your job, it makes sure - you never have to take responsibility (you just bought best), it makes you more beautiful and confident - when you know, that you only bought BEST, it keeps the advertising industry running...

And just a little modified, its the first thing you say about your children as well ("My child is best"), which always draws sympathies. (This is a point of reference for a generation thats a little older.. )

It's also what you use when you are abroad ("whats the BEST way to the airport?"), and when you are ordering at a lovely small restaurant in the less touristy part of town ("whats your BEST wine"?).

It's a lifestyle, really.

Wow got boring on the 2nd post tbh lol just because I asked people in a forum doesn't mean I'm gonna go with what they say. It's called asking for an opinion!! Which everyone will have a different say. Also people say lower firmware will receive quicker but also less hassle! But thanks for your ramble. I hope you find a job soon.
