any help or suggestions? been using 6.20 perm patch but been wondering if something is better or worth updating to 6.60 for
You can update to 6.60 and use the CIPL perma hack with that model (I think).PM xist to be sure.

Yes, daxter bundle is fully hackable (TA-085v2). I have one for instance =P.

The only reason why I haven't switch to 6.60 is because some of my plugins won't work on 6.60
so if you have a lot of plugins, you might want to wait.

I think it's a TA-085, not a V2. I've got a daxter as well, but I can softmod my battery (whereas the reports on the V2 motherboard say it can't softmod it).

Lucky you, I can't softmod on mine. Have you run PSPIdent on yours anyway? Here is mine:

When I've run various versions on mine it always reported it without the "v2", which is what lead me to try to softmod it (even though I have a separate TOOL pandora).

That looks just like mine... but I've modded the case various ways so you wouldn't be able to take a picture as proof, but the seller told me it was in the daxter pack, and it DID come with the daxter pack box and game and the PSP did still have the warranty sticker on it (until I started modding it).
