Ok so i downloaded mission control

Extracted it to the card
(Lots of files were over written)
Turned off and on the console

I expected mission control to be in the home brew menu but nothing is appearing?
Any ideas
You need to read the instructions, the readme page of the Mission Control is great, you need to read it in order to understand what is the homebrew and how to use it.

i agree 100% , i hate making a post and be told "have you tried reading?" or "have you tried making a search?"
so i'll search reddit or gbatemp or google , ect... . I'll find a solution 98% of the time
if i still can't find a solution, then i'll make a post/tinker to find a solution or an alternative and post my findings to help others

thanks guys yes RTFM I hear ya

ok I have tried to pair my wii u remote
I think the wii and the wiiu remote are basically the same

I got into the window "change/grip order" and then press the sync button on the wii u remote but nothing happens except flashing lights on the remote. Switch does not seem interested in getting the controller setup.

I read this:

IMPORTANT: Atmosphère >= 1.3.1 is required to run the latest release of Mission Control on firmware 14.1.0. Using an older Atmosphère version will cause Mission Control to crash or freeze the system on boot. Users upgrading from version 0.1.0 of Mission Control are also advised to wipe their pairing database and re-pair controllers running the latest version. Failure to wipe the old entries may result in non-switch controllers being detected incorrectly.

how do I know which version of atmosphere that I am on?

Ok few I got it back but ran out of time
it's all working now looks like version 0.64 doesnt like my version of hetake

I will try to redownload the latest version and go again but no luck so far

yes no luck

tried a ps4 controller and a wii u controller both keep flashing (controllers) but the switch picks up nothing

any suggestions~?

Im guessing that is some type of app
Like in linux the top command shows which processes r running

do you have a picture of that?

Sure do!

so it looks like mission control is the app to get third party controllers to work on a modded switch

do all bluetooth controllers work or is it specific ones only

I do wonder if PS3 controllers would work or xbox 360
bit clunky them ones tho
I've personally always used official controllers on my switch. Mostly my pro controller.

Thanks i had a quick look

Tesla is available via homebrew
But im noticing most things installed on a modded switch via homebrew just dont work

On the modded up wii u
Lots of things on homebrew menu worked right away

Do u reckon that the mission control module is not loaded?
that is my guess, i can't know for sure
if you do everything right it should work

For most games I use the Pro controller and for games I want to play with a good dpad.
I use 8Bitdo SF30 Pro, I never use the Joycons as a controller in dock mode.
