Hacking Which card to get?

I feel like I repeat myself every day. CycloDS owns all. Even plays MLB Power Pros 2008, which was nuked. CycloDS [+1]

All the carts can play it, even though JPH stated it didn't run on the scds-1 it does, he just needed the bug fix for the sp4 software.

Anyway my 2 penneth, I can't imagine why anyone but a very young child would find edge or acekard2 better than scds1

i own an r4 and have no problems with it...i think some may be biased for their own reasons, but for as many games as ive downloaded, they all work with no problems...ive downloaded the newest games (hm:ioh and n+) and they work fine....please tell me...which new games are u referring to?

Even if new games work, updates for r4 is gone, and therefore a high chance of having problems running newer games. Might not be the recent new ones, but Nintendo will definitely add a glitch like the DQ one.

well hopefully people can update the cart if R4 doesnt...cant be that hard eh? i dont know the ways of flash cart firmware but im sure its not impossible for the underground scene to do ...maybe some R4 owners that dont want to buy a new cart will make this possible...hopefully..i dont want to buy another one...thats for sure....my r4 was like 70 bucks, including the 2 gb sd and all that good stuff that came with it...meh, if it really does start to have problems ill spend my 70 bucks on a ps3 game and return my ds to gamestop for cash lol

Nah, PharaohsVizer isn't a douchebag. He's actually close to the truth. You can play the entire back catalog of games, but whenever a problem game arises, you can commiserate with the DS-X owners who haven't seen an update in God knows how long. If you want to see what will happen to you in the future, look at the DS-X topics about problem games (or slot-2 for that matter). It sucks to be left out when everyone else is playing a new awesome game which isn't supported by your flashcart.

You said something similar about the EZV on some other thread... Need to get a grip, you have 76 posts in seven days, and most of them aren't quality posts...

Aside from that R4 is out of date, the team doesn't care, they've already took your money, and they already stopped production, further support adds nothing. Of course it would be great for R4 users to get updates, but that doesn't seem like it is going to happen. I feel bad for people who bought R4s a long time ago, but if you bought it recently, you deserve to have a useless cart.

k srry but i really like all the FlashCart cant find out with one is the best i like the edge cuz it a good interface and ez flash is good to i dont know whichis better oK

Lol sorry, I didn't mean to be overly offensive, I just meant that people who buy before doing research can't expect to get the best out there. I'm not saying you deserve a piece of crap, I'm saying that you bought before you did research, if a problem arises then you deserve to get the consequences...

at the time of purchase, everyone was saying r4 was the best...which was like last year i think...dunno..its been a while. i mean i might get a new one if i really have to , but the same thing is just gonna keep happening, as soon as 1 gets too popular nintendo is gonna get them shut down...i still think someone is probably able to update the r4's (or any other cart) firmware unofficially

There is YSmenu for the r4.

What the point YSmenu is sorta the same as the R4 Menu there like no point of using (i think i dunno im not smart)
