Hacking which actual card do i have??

Im finding this a bit of a minefield. I have the R4 - SDHC Upgrade cart and my daughter updated to 1.4e without realising the problem it would cause. After scouring the net for 3 days, there seems to be many conflicting reports on whether a new Gold flash cart is required or whether software is being released to update the "red" we have already. Can anyone help as to where we are at the minute. Thanks

The official site says they are working on it. That's all the info we have.

Since it's a DSTT clone, if the DSTT Team can do it, then the R4i team can do it (unless they epically fail.. which they probably will
