Where's Wally DS (by James Garner) is a homebrew game for the DS. The game follows the same idea as the Where's Wally book, which is to search around the page, or in this case, the screen, to try and find Wally. Point out Wally to win.

Classic "Where's Waldo/Wally?" 5 level game for DS made using PAlib. Not much I know, but still quite fun for the first time.
Just touch Wally's head when you find him.

Brings back memories, I had some Where's Wally books when I was a kid. Might check this out just for old times sake

lol, I said this before but you could just tap randomly on the screen until you find him not unless there is a limit of 3 taps or something..

It's just a cycle of quite blurry pictures. Touch wally on each screen to go to the next image and then it starts again after about 5 pictures. Maybe it'll be something in time, but it's not very good at the moment...

How bout find tintin.. Would that float your boat??..

They should make something similar to this using the backs of Highlights magazines. I used to dominate those.

I like the idea, not very hard to make though...
But it would easily be possible to make something that you have only 3 chances...

Yeah, it's Where's Waldo in the US.

You know, this reminds me of something that has crossed my mind a few times...copyright infringement.

These Homebrew developers are making a lot of games that are full of copyrighted images, even going so far as to naming them the same, or making them as close to identical to the original as they can get.
Now, one of three things is going to come out of this. 1) Nothing. No one that owns the properties will ever notice that someone has stolen it. 2) They will get noticed and get slapped with a cease and desist order. 3) A game company will be impressed enough with their work to offer them a job (probably in exchange for not suing them)

The F'n lawyers are ruining this country...I don't know the legalities of it, but it would seem to me that if you aren't doing it to profit from it, then you should be left alone.

Which brings me to another point...Homebrew Bounty...the winners had games that were similar in concept to commercially released games, but were not exact copies. Plus, they named the games very cleverly in that you know what the inspiration was, but that it wasn't a copyright infringement.

So, anyway, just a word of caution to the GBAtemp staff, if you're going to reward these very talented people for making homebrew games (bravo, BTW), make damn sure you don't put ones that could be considered a blantant copyright rip-off as one of the choices to be a potential winner.

I got an idea!

WHERE'S WALDO EXTREMEEEEEEE!

YOu get 3 seconds to find Waldo... or you phailz. Epicly.
