Feels like only yesterday it was 2012 and I was on IRC talking about scheduling gym battles with badges as rewards at card shops while browsing EoF. Big contender was using the Sanshee replica badges at the time. We never could agree on which gen badges we should use.

Shit, man.

Each new year is a smaller segment of your lifetime. When you're small a year is 20% of your entire lifespan so far. As you grow older it keeps dropping. A year is 2% of my lifespan now. (For AncientBoi it's 1% :tpi: )
"It's been a whole year" sounds long. "It's been 2%" does not.

It will be nice to not live in a world that doesn't judge you based on text.
As I understand it, me and the Buddhists are on the same page... It's just over and you reach Nirvana on your first try. While they think you have to stroke your ego for a lifetime in temple and focus just on yourself... Oups! Did I just reveal my feelings about Buddhist monks, I guess I did. I don't know of anybody on this earth more focused on themselves and their ego. Seems to me a bunch of narcissistic man-boys who were not ready for life and took refuge in a temple... Might not be a bad choice, but please, be honest.

Maybe it goes on though, but if it was like a game, who'd start on insanely hard..? You go for easy mode and then choose the harder alternatives once you're bored because you've been so successful at it and it's too easy (which is most of GbaTemp of course, bunch of studs and winners, I've beaten Ghost n Goblins myself and I think my number of sexual partners are in the double digits, and I'm only in my 40s, suck it! 😂).

If I were to say I'm gay people would be like that's great.
If I said they're being stupid over trying to look more intelligent than they are they'd cry about it.

Wow someone is a little grumpy today.
What's wrong buddy?

Ran out of snacks?

I get this deeply. I do feel the distance between my college years and now, though it doesn't feel as far off as you would think.

I recall my time watching indie animators on Newgrounds improving their craft one video at a time. I remember the PS2 being the top console with tons of games (seemingly) always on the way. I fondly think back to being in college and sharing my joys with my buddies while earning the grade. Nowadays, I wish I had more time for games and simply replaying my favorites over and over again. That feeling that time didn't even move. Alas, we must change with evolving circumstances. We wish for the good old days, while time rushes by at frighteningly faster rates. We must remind ourselves not to forsake the blessings we have in the moment. We must practice gratitude or forget what makes each day flow as it does.

Why did I write this, just load up Chrono Cross's opening.
