So i haven't used WiiU USB Helper in a while and I turn it on today to discover this new Game Cube feature. So I prepared my SD card and downloaded Nintendont and the Nintendont forwarder via USB Helper. I also downloaded Luigis Mansion and injected the ISO via the steps.

So my next steps will be using Wup Installer to installer Nintendont and the channel forwarder. Then I will install the Luigi Mansion game via Wup Installer that was created by USB Helper.

My question is where do I install the Game Cube games? Can they be installed on my USB hard drive with my other Wii U games or should I install the Game Cube games on my SD card only?

Just double checking before I screw things up.

Thanks!

If you're just installing the Nintendont channel, the gamecube games have to be stored on your SD card. If however you're installing individual GameCube games that were injected into Wii VC titles, then these GameCube games can be installed either directly you internal memory of the Wii U or your USB hard drive.

I have my favorite GC games installed individually and then the Nintendont chanel installed as well to access my less frequently played GC games from my SD card.

Ahhhh... So if I install an injected GameCube game then I won't have to launch the Nintendont program to play? I can just launch the game directly?

I do still need to install Nintendont via Wup Installer to my USB Hard drive correct?

What is Nintendong Cabell?

Thanks again!

I recently installed a few games using USB Helper. I created the installable file using an ISO and installed the game via WUP Installer. Only problem is, when I launch the game, it loads the splash screen, the Wii logo comes up and then the system resets. I am using Mocha CFW on Rednand. Any ideas?

Thanks for the info. Pretty sweet that the game cube games will work just like any other installed game on my USB drive. Looking forward to playing Sunshine and Mansion again.

I also haven't beaten FO4 yet despite being >200 hours into a single playthrough. I got stuck in sidequest and citybuilding hell. At this point I'll probably just re-roll a survival playthrough

Pork ribs in the crock pot probably be done at midnight

@Sicklyboy dead island 2 is free on epic games right now, it's also multi player. I'm trying to get @skyv0ra to get it
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
    oops that's @skav0ra

What is this game that people have been mentioning lately?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Read the reviews and it doesn't seem all that sunshine and rainbows; rather, a buggy mess considering it's an early beta. I was expecting this to be another Piratefi situation lol.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@realtimesave, nice, downloaded. Never played any Epic games but I would've thought I'd had an account. Apparently not lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
err, actually, misspoke, meant to say I claimed it, haven't downloaded anything yet

Epic gives away so many good titles but gets such dumb hate
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy is your fallout 4 playthrough that good or bad
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
also sorry i had to do something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@bowlerhat, bad in the sense that I never finished it, but good in the sense that I had fun getting as far as I got before I tabled the game
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy the only thing that i dont like is that they simplified the perk system and nerfed the special system too much in my opinion

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
204 hours into the game, I got as far as meeting Valentine in Diamond City as far as the main story is concerned. I sidequested a ton and spent a lot of time on citybuilding. And this was all at launch, before there was even any DLC yet. So that's all a mystery to me
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@bowlerhat, agreed, and I also dislike how generic/basic the dialogue system is compared to FO3. But, it is what it is. I still enjoyed it despite all that

@Sicklyboy almost all my epic games were free. I just bought maybe one or two star wars games, cheap though
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy i didnt like fallout 4 that much compared to the previous games but it still has the replay value atleast

@realtimesave, yeah that's what's confusing me, I was pretty sure I'd claimed free games on EGS before but I didn't have an email saved, "forgot password" didn't give me anything, and it let me register under my normal email and username. Wack
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Also couldn't find any email in my account from EGS in the past
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    Fever dream shit :P
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
@Sicklyboy nice well at least u got the game :)
