well, i think 'technically' you need to pay import duty on like everything you import, at least when it is over a certain value, i'm not sure exactly how the law works.
if you get the item without having to pay any duty, maybe it is just lucky and it slipped through the system. maybe they don't check EVERY SINGLE parcel etc. maybe they do.
maybe because i got mine shipped via fedex they were more routine? but either way,you can contact them, i think i did it as i was making the order, but surely you can just email them separately, and ask them what you can do :)

i thought sellers would always take care of duty stuff. i bought some products from Japan and China before, and i didn't pay any duty at all.

why do you think they should absorb the cost of import duty that is imposed by the country you live in ?
