I have been trying to buy another PSP 1000 or a hackable/hacked 2000 for a while now. I am hoping somebody could point me towards the right direction if I wanted to buy one. I have tight pockets so I am trying to find an affordable deal. I tried trading but it didn't work. At least it didn't get any hits yet so it might work if I am patient. Anyways suggest me a few places where I can find good deals. Preferably I would like a hacked PSP but as long as I get a PSP I will have no complaints.

I can only afford 30-50. I can hack the system myself but besides that I just want the system.

this is probably a cliche now but ebay is good if you are careful and patient about it.

also check other forum sites trading/selling sections

craigslist might turn something up too.

just be careful and use common sense when purchasing stuff online.

Try Craigslist. There are always people who have no idea what they have, or what it's worth.

I went the ebay route, and for $80 I got a PSP-1000 that barely works, is not portable, and randomly shuts off all the time. Don't be cheap.

did you get a refund?

I checked GameStop online and it said the PSP's were worth 100 bucks. I can probably do 60 but it's my brother who is going to pay for it and he is getting pissed off at me for being focused on games now a days so thats why I can only afford so low. I tried craigslist but they want cash and carry. There is no way my brother is going to drive far away to pick up something he doesn't want me to have. I would try eBay if I had a PayPal.

I go my second hackable psp on craiglist...actually, funny story, I was asking for broken psp for parts and a guy sold me one with a broke screen for $30...I took it home and come to find out it was just bricked...the screen was fine. I used my magicstick and now I have a brand new fully hackable fully working psp for $30. Also you can put a request on the trading forums here. 1st guy take me for my money, but the 2nd guy to offer one took $100 for it. Just be smart I'd say.
