Hacking Where do I start?

Hello all, I'm finally embarking on the journey of SW modification and I'm really not even sure where to start so if I could be pointed in the right direction that would be phenomenal.

What I have-
Brand new* Switch on firmware 4.0.1
SXOS dongle thingy?

So because of life and stuff I purchased the switch and dongle around 2 years ago and everything got shelved. Like I literally turned this switch on for the first time today but bought it for the purpose of hacking it before hacks were even available.

So with that being said, this will be dedicated for CFW, I'm not worried about ever going online or going back to OFW. I would like to use emulators, homebrew, and install my games onto the Switch. Ya know, the stuff everybody wants to do. Also I would love to not have to use the dongle every time I want to restart the system.

If you insist on SXOS, just look on their site for a guide how to become a pirate. *HarHar

I personally prefer Atmosphere over SXOS.

Usually you don't have to restart your Switch.
But there currently is no way of booting without a dongle.
Atmosphere can reboot without it though.
