Well I'm sure if you actually deserve it then your parents wouldn't have a problem buying it for you. Given how you present yourself here I'd have to say you would be lucky to get anything at all.
i'm really surprised members on this forum still try to give you solid advice when all you do is throw it back in their faces all the time when you don't like the answer, you should have been kicked to the kerb long ago for your past behaviour. there are loads out there unpatched or with modchips already installed, if you don't like the price that's your problem and no one else's on this forum. you could buy a unpatched switch from UK for £140 (just tablet) and thats BIN, ship to cyprus with royal mail for around £18ish. thats around £160ish in total, if you don't like the price that's just tough on you.
You guys are all being dicks. This guy clearly suffers from Affluenza and as a result cannot be held accountable for his behavior. He is the true victim here and you guys are just making it worse for him. Surely one of you could give up your V1 Nintendo Switch to make this guy happy. That or spend more time figuring out how to softhack a V2 instead of screwing off here on GBAtemp. You are lowly hackers. Get to hacking! Where are your manners? Now go think about what you’ve done and try to be better people in the future.
Not all devs ask for donations and some don't even think it's ethical to involve cash in any form. Most do it out of passion in their own free time just for the challenge of doing it. Some just say to send them hardware they don't have or need to further a project instead.
ModMyClassic is an example of a group that had asked for Discord donations for "server costs" and people even went as far as to support their Patreon page when they claimed they were working on a hack for the TG16/PCE mini. They ended up using that cash for who knows what, no hack was ever released, and they've been very happy to let Covid falsely take the blame.
Very few devs are worth supporting with money, but most aren't because of things like the above that tend to happen more often than not.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
