Hacking Where are these new threads coming from?

And you obviously don't understand that you're just riling the monkeys in their cage up. This is still nothing, and not even barely a development. Unless you're dead-set on getting a homebrew/CFW exploit, I would not recommend hardmodding your poor systems under any circumstance.

You ask for people to catch you up, then attack them for doing so... This is a very big development.

Or is it all fluff just to quell impatient idiots?
Maybe it's all people who ask this very question instead of just reading 3-5 of this threads and find out themself what's going on (actually one would be enough to hint direction since they're pretty much all about the same thing that happend)

Yeah, so if you wanted to get more heat out of your toaster, you'd stick a fork in it. Clearly no one that comes to this board from the outside with any electrical or circuit board knowledge. Not only is it easy to break your system, it's no way in hell a better method than a software exploit. This is the realm of necromancy, in which you try to heal a wound with dead flesh. I dunno how many more analogies I need to give you, but it is not recommended.
It doesn't take any "electrical or circuit board knowledge" because you are literally shorting one pin. It's that simple, so simple that the internet is making memes about it. You are making it seem like this is the most difficult modification ever discovered. Please do us a favor and stop posting, and when you discover a better solution let us know :)

Almost everything we need is out there, basically this is just totally ready for the upcoming CFW...

Without anything released you wouldn't load the CFW either, now everyone knows how to enter RCM which is what all non 3.0.0 ppl needed to know.

FG might not seem like much but it's what we will need soon and you will want it so badly soon...

What is it about the switch hacking that brings out all of these daft people on this forum? If you think touching a pin to your device is dangerous then don't do it. You can look at your switch from across the room inside its acrylic case you bought for it to keep it safe. Some of us are looking forward to having Linux, custom firmware, and emulators on our switch and I'm sorry you can't be a part of that
