im not sure if this is the right place for this but..... the cheat code database hasnt been updated since december the 8th,what going on?

how come it doesnt say the games that were added? i extracted the file and theres no change log.oh and when will they add cheats for soul silver?

I'm not sure but it is u[dated. TBF its probably becasue its meant to ve tempory database rather than the actual database.

Narin is in charge of the official database, but he's been incredibly busy, so at the moment the temporary database is the most up to date one.

They should already have been added, although it doen'st mention it in the changelog. When there's a new update in the Temporary database you can asume that (almost) all games up to that date are added.

Did you trim or used the rom with DSLazy or something? Check if the RomID in the usrcheat.dat is the same as the RomID from you soulsilver rom. If not change the RomID in the usrcheat.dat to match the RomID from your game.

Just download the program called r4cce. Open the cheat file with it. Search from the rom. There should be a button to look for the rom ID next to the current rom ID if I remember correctly. (Gonna check it now)

EDIT: The button has three dots in it: ...
when you click on you just select your soulsilver rom and it will automatically change the ID then save your file and drop it on your sd and it should work.

Or if you save it directly to your card then just overwrite the current one.

Yeah, those cheats should work, but if he somehow messed with the rom or didn;t download a clean version than the ID's different, meaning it can't find the cheats cause there's no matching ID in the cheat file.
I have it all the time when I undub the games. Everytime I download a new cheat file I need to change the ID of Avalon Code, because I undubbed it and that changed the ID~! Oh well a small price to pay for good voices xD

you did change the cheat loading file to the newest one didnt you?
i mean like not on the computer on the acekard itself and also it might say IPG or whatever but its also the numbers that matter youve got to look at the file (rom) using r4cce to see the whole gamecode once seeing that change the soul silver (cheat)game code to that ( again using r4cce)

anyway, make sure you had selected usrcheat.dat as your main DB and try REBUILT!!!!!
