When will Switch 2 games be dumpable?

I would say within a year it's likely we will see the first encrypted dumps, of course without a hack these dumps aren't useful for anything beyond archival.
It may be possible with hardware RAM dumping or with ROP to dump some decrypted data which could enable emulator & softmod research, getting full dumps this way will be difficult but it can get the ball rolling.

No keys, no usefull dump. Even if you could extract it off the cart, you can't do anything with it till we get the keys.

Once someone cracks it, access the keys, the keys to the kingdom will be released.

You know they use the Nvidia hardware to decompress/decipher game data on the fly with Switch 2, right? Any dump you get without hacking original hardware will be of the smelly brownish variety.

No they are not.
They use a custom ASIC for communication with the game carts.
That ASIC does all all the decryption.
The NVidia CPU just communicates wth the ASIC as if it were an emmc chip (with some extra commands).
This is the achilles heel of the Switch 2 but it was never exploited because other exploits were way easier.
