I personally have decided to buy a Sky3DS after all. I've waited and waited and quite frankly I'd rather use my Gateway because of the various benefits over the Sky3DS. But my Zelda: OoT is not compatible with the hack and the Sky3DS is not a bad purchase, I will use it to inject the Zelda rom into the N3DS and so this way, I'll be able to use Gateway and still have a Sky3DS for the future.

Exactly what I've been telling people to do. It's better to buy a Sky3DS than an overpriced OoT. And this way, you can use Cubic Ninja rom too and use Karl3DS, which will basically give even a Jap N3DS user a REGIONFREE SKY3DS.
