Hacking When will Gateway release new method for N3DS owners that doesn't require Zelda?

If GW releases a cheaper way to use their cart sky3ds' resale value will drop significantly. It'll only be an option for people who don't want to pay for the price of a GW cart + whatever extra is needed (i.e. CN). Of course it will still be the only option for 9.3+ so that should keep it's value relatively high, but if Nintendo figures out how to block it than it might only be useful for 9.3 to whatever FW blocks it which would be a fairly small customer pool.

Sky3ds prices are likely to stay stable or drop in the near future so I don't see much reason to get one yet to use with GW. Of course if GW's soon becomes Soon™ than that would likely be the cheapest option to get GW working. But for now I am keeping hope for CN or some other method.

Why not choose SKY3DS. I don't will wait the Gateway card.
I have got one from sky-3ds.com . Pretty good.

some people don't want use sky3ds because they are using N3ds japan version, not all people can read japanese
i also can't find oot and save dongle in my place, it was an old game that hard to find now

1. i dont think we realy need all that gateway topics
2. many people bought a new 3ds from japan or australia to be on the save side (FW)
3. sky3ds is a nice card and aslong you dont update your FW you can always use it, same goes for GW
4. i think the OoT haack doesnt take somutch longer to boot than the web or the profile exploit
5. OoT is unlike Cubic Ninja a Game most people bought pre GateWay
6. what we realy would need is a Legit OoT cia so that we only need one modul, the disc swaping is anoying, especialy because you cant swap them befor you enter the GW menu(i wished i could just get into emuNAND after pressing A

The smiths bashing has gone on long enough. Lol. 95% of the Tempers here are the newcomers and joined in the last year or two. Smiths is a Acekard legend and was instrumental in the DS scene.
