Hacking When I get my DSTT...

What should I do first? I mean, I'll download the latest firmware, a menu and some other apps, but then what else? And do I need to download anything for the SD/SDHC card when I use it?

no, you don't need to download anything for the micro sd/sdhc card, but try to format it first in fat or fat32 depending on the card's capacity.

You do need to download the OS (firmware) and copy the ttmenu.dat and a folder named ttmenu (that come in the OS download) to the root of the microSD.
The one download provides the firmware and the menu needed to use the DSTT. You dont need anything else besides the homebrew/games you want to play.

You could also get ysmenu from http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds/ It's a different menu. I like it better than the original DSTT menu. Just scroll down that page and look for YSMenu and download it.
