PS1/2 when do you think they will stop selling ps2 games?

The PS2 came out in 2000, why would you assume they would support it for 2 extra years? Sony is discontinuing the PS2 next year and cutting support completely by the end of this year I think.

as long as they keep selling sony has no reason to take them off the market and besides until recently no one wanted to pay that much for a sony system that doesnt even have backwards compatibility so people are still buying PS2

I think they said around 2011, but I imagine as long as they are still selling them, they'll keep producing them. They probably will gradually cut back on support though in an effort to move people over to the PS3.

It might stop in other countries but not in IND.
They sell quite quick here because they are cheap.
They cost just RS.4000 ie. 80$
The games are even cheaper at just 5$-25$.

I prefer the PS3 though.

They'll discontinue PS2 consoles, support, and games once PS2 games are available on the PSN. It's now nothing but ports, shovelware, and visual novels now.
