Bought the Super Mario 3D world and Nintendo Land bundle for my nephew on 2015 Christmas.

Christmas 2014 and then a backup console only spring 2015. Replaced the gamepad battery with an $11 one from Amazon and so far is fine.

I think it was a good time to buy because I was able to get most games 2nd hand for good prices. Although I probably should have gotten it a year earlier.
