If you study the list above you'll see theres been 20 updates since launch almost 4 yrs to the date of this post. 6 in 2013 , 10 in 2014 and just 2 in 2015 , that either states theres nothing more to update or they cant be arsed anymore . There hasnt been a bigger gap in updates as there was between 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 around 6 months . only a few months between 5.4.0 and 5.5.0 and since then its been approx three months . So i would guess somewhere in the next 3 months guageing from their history .. but that could and probably does mean sod all. this time of year seems to figure prominently in the history lol... maybe a xmas pressie from ninty...

so i think to satisfy your troll OP it will be on or around january 14th 2016. happy now ?

interesting, there has almost always been an update on december or november so at least that makes us hopeful, but that huge gap between 5.3.2 and 5.4....
how soon did the 5.3.2 exploit come after the update?

Well, they announced cloud saves for Wii U and new Club Nintendo like program, they should be available around first quarter, I think Nintendo would pull an update soon around march 2016 or so.

EtadModnar announced the new Update for 20 April 2016.
Unfortunately we need some more patience .

But i wouldn't be surprised if the Update gets postponed. Anyway you can check the Date here.
