The Assassin's Creed series (AC2 was my favourite) and Gran Turismo 6

All of the mainstream, well known games don't do it for me. I like to find the most unknown games.
Ni no Kuni. It's possibly one of greatest RPGs i've played in years.
Folklore is pretty unique and very engaging with a unique battle system and a 'pokemon' style collecting mechanic.
Enslaved is one that doesn't get much praise, it's a real hidden gem. The story picks up nicely and it's pretty to look at too.
Puppeteer is an oddball but an unknown great. It's like playing a video game version of a puppet theater - very strange but so fun when you get used to it. It's pretty difficult too.

Personally, Journey was my favorite PS3 console exclusive.

I started playing Hyperdimension Neptunia after getting it really cheap in a junk shop. The guy was selling all ps3 games 2 for a fiver, had no idea what games are really worth.

I don't understand critical hate for this game. Sure, it doesn't push any boundaries but it's a good RPG with likeable characters.

If you have the first one, it has a lot of major flaws besides the story. The Frame rate is beyond terrible, the combat is slow, and the loading times are pretty long but if you can get passed that, well its a nice game.Most people at this point would recommend everyone to just play Re;Birth 1 instead

I had no problems with load times, I've got an SSD in my PS3 so it speeds up load times a lil bit. Framerates are pretty slow though, you're right about that.

I've heard a lot of good things about that game I should pick it up since its only like 2 dollars for an uncharted game.

no one mentioned Dead Space 1,2 and 3 it will give you some jump scares if you're into sci-fi horror games.

What genre are you looking for? What sort of theme maybe?
There is so much on the PS3... everything from amazing titles (and digital games) in the RPG genre all the way to contemporary games like Metal Gear Solid V. It's all about what you want.
