Is there even an objective? YOu can't save the music you make, and there's limited variations that can be done, I don't get the point of electroplankton, it's a nice diversion but seems to have no objective.

thanks in advance

Isn't the objective to go "ploink ploink" and "plink plink" and "beep boop beep"? It's colourful and makes noises. Wheeeee!!!

I'm eagerly awaiting the day when someone decides to start up a orchaestra consisting of DS'es playing Electroplankton.

"An Electroplankton Symphony".
Coming soon to a concert hall near you

There is no 'game' to it, no point much at all really. It's a program of music and discovery. The only failing it has is no saveram to stuff a game into. This can easily be remedied by NOT caring about the portable nature of the DS and just jacking a male-male jack from your DS into your PC and recording what you make.

The idea is to start as a discovery program learning about the various sound effects and styles of audio each branch of the program can create. From that, you should meddle with it, learn what is what and make a nice piece of music you compose doing such. When you're pleased, plop that cord in and run the MP3/WAV maker on your PC and record that sucker.

Then keep or share with others.

I happen to have this as an import as an old friend gave it to me for free if he could keep the headphones...fair deal!

EDIT for...ZZZ

Funny you should mention that. Do a google search on the game and music, there are people out there actively composing some damn fine piece of music using the game alone and recording it into the pc like I mentioned above.
