Homebrew Whats the new...?

I was recently tipped off that there was a way to play backed up ISO's and play DVD's with my Wii using the homebrew channel. I haven't had my Wii out of the box in many many months. I have the homebrew channel installed, but now I have a question for the experienced guys/girls.

Can someone give me details on how to play backed up ISO's and DVD's on the Wii using the homebrew channel? Sending me links are find, I can read lol. I just want to be pointed in the right direction.
