any chance at all?
pretty high, japan games almost or always works on Wii(us) because they are both NTSC
about as much as you making a good post
Yeah, what Akoji said. Probably around 80-90% chance. Don't forget to try 480i and 480p though. (That affects some PAL gamers)
OT: It's a pretty high chance, but if it does end up having copy protection like many say it will it may not work (the chip'd be active as it would be a foreign-region game).
The chance for pal however..... low like crap.... :'(
no... there is no chance... I bet it won't work! I mean common! where only Europe you know...
Yeah, we PAL users will probably get screwed in the ass...
Well Mario Galaxy worked.. so theres a small chance =)
it worked and it bricked half of the pal users so that means there is 50% left which will be killed with the help of ssmb!
We allways us Europeans gets screewed up whit slow realeases ?
It's history.. I think its unfair Japan should punish the americans nut europeans!! We didn't drop a nuclear bom on hiroshima!! America did!
Well deserved though...
Its allways us that gets all the nice games first.
However all these crappy games we allways get fast -.-
ssbb working on a pal console isn't a completely lost cause. i haven't any experience of playing ntsc-j games on my pal wii, but loads of ntsc-u games have worked, mario and sonic at the olympics, manhunt 2, zack and wiki, mario galaxy, endless ocean, geometry wars, simpsons, and probably more.
I think it won't be possible on both pal as ntcs due to a new protection, I'm going to laugh my ass if this is true!
according to the wiki compatibility list, mario galaxy JPN didn't work on US systems, so I highly doubt that brawl will work...
It did work. It should be blue on the wiki, not red. Aside from the fact that you had to semi-brick your Wii to play it, the game worked.
Yea and thats not worth it... then you get no online play.
