Hacking Whats the best external hard drive to get for the USB loader??

Was thinking about getting this one but its only 16cache, will it be fast enough??? Also would that size work on the Wii??

I just bought a 500GB cheapo brand for $60 can dls at WaltMart and it works very good actually, but it has the spindown issue, although playing Metroid3, if I leave the game paused, and then return to play, it runs again (after starting the HDD back) without freezing or anything...!!

i have a old usb buffalo 160gb external drive,ive had it about 2 years,what i like to know is can i cause my wii any damage by plugging it in especially when its looking for the drive as my ports seem very temperamental
