Gaming What's the anti cheating solution on 3DS?

Hi,

I had a question on general anti cheating scene on the 3DS. Since, powersaves can help you modify the game itself, what's stopping these players online?

If you mean Pokemon, there are legitimacy checks when a Pokemon is attempted to be traded/battled online. If one of them goes off, the player cannot fight/trade and a communication error occurs, until the player uses legitimate Pokemon.

In Super Smash Bros., attempting to use a hacked Mii Fighter online will also result in a varying 10-minute to an hour ban.

Attempting to hack plays in the Nintendo Badge Arcade will often lead to console and NNiD bans.

Mostly the same as any other scene... Network receives report of suspicious player monitors there play and decides if a ban is needed.

Surely that was a while back when hack checks weren't applied to PSS Battles? It's a lot stricter now. If you're found with a modified save file, your ranking on Rating Battles aren't registered online.

Save editing ? lol no I think it was the gateway cheat engine.

Do you mean, via Sky3DS? You will get banned online unless you use a private header.

I was talking about before Gateway cheats were even a thing. PKHeX is pretty powerful and lets you generate any kind of hackmon :')
