Exactly what the title says: What is an MLC checker, what does it have to do with the big Error 160, and how do I use it? Help appreciated, please and thank you.

It tries to read each file and logs the corrupted ones. It's an option in my fork of the recovery.
But if you have the 160-0103 you probably want one of the other solutions anyway. It's much less hassle to just rebuild the MLC than to fix the corruption

I have never actually gotten error 160 actually, but I remember seeing someone mention an MLC checker to see if a file would trigger the error, so I'm looking for these files preemptively. So you have a recovery tool that can check for these?
