My brother's NES and Mega Drive, can't remember which one exactly as I was 3/4.

Still have that original MD, going by the date on the Mobo, it's only a few weeks older than me.

My first console was the Sega Genesis. But I played games several years before that on Atari 8 bit computers. Man, I feel old now.

The first console I played was my cousins NES that they brought over - they traveled to our house to evacuate from a hurricane maybe 1996ish.. The first handheld I owned was an atomic purple game boy color I got for my birthday in 1999, and then later that year I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas.

Mine, actually mine, PS1. I begged my dad for a Saturn for ages (I was used to play the Mega Drive with friends) and he got me a PS1. Then a few years later, he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said a Saturn and he gave me a Nintendo 64. I only needed up owning a Saturn in my 20s. In retrospective, better deals though.

GBC was my first console. I got an N64 later on, but I wasn't allowed to bring it to my moms, so I didn't get to play it as much.
On the GBC, my favorite game was Pokemon Silver (though it would've been Pokemon Red when I first got it), on the N64 it was Ocarina of Time. Played both of those so much.
My mom would also occasionally rent a SNES usually with one of the Donkey Kong Country games or Bubsy so I have a lot of nostalgia for those games as well. I got my own SNES later, after the GBC and N64 though. I still don't own my childhood favorite SNES games, well except for Super Mario World. SNES games are so expensive nowadays.

I played NES a few times growing up but it was so early in my life that I didn't really understand games yet and don't have any clear memories of playing it, or much nostalgia for it, and the NES quickly became old news when the SNES and N64 came along.

My first console was The Grandstand Video Entertainment Computer which was the British version of the Fairchild Channel F II.

My first ever console was a fake Sega Megadrive for which I had a couple of games, nothing really noteworthy. It came with some roms already included and it was fun for a while. I still have it but, unfortunately, both controllers simple do not work anymore. I'll see about opening it up to see what it is about, maybe it's just something trivial.

Other than that, I mainly played games on the PC (whatever I could run at the time which wasn't really much), and from time to time I played on PS1, PS2 and PS3 consoles at my friends' places.

The first console I ever bought with my money was the Wii U a couple of years ago and after that I got into collecting consoles. mainly Nintendo ones. Only recently I purchased my first XBOX consoles and I'm yet to find a decent PS3 console at the used consoles marketplace.
