Loved my M3 Simply in my DS days, but I see its never going to work in my 3DS.

What would people recommended as a replacement?

I understand none will do 3DS games which I'm fine with, just would like to continue to enjoy my DS stuff on the 3DS.

Preferably something that uses microSD and has had good support for updates

Thank you in advance.

I'm impressed that you've still got a working M3 Simply. I've had a whole other flashcart outlive it's usefulness and die on me since my days of using that hardware.

Apart from that, I agree with @[member='DinohScene']

Well to be honest I still have a working Max Media Dock, but that poor defunct NDS headgear was hardly used before I learned what real flashcarts were.
As for the Simply and others, maybe I'm just too rough on the little things. Sort of tough to be gentle with hamhands.

:D Really a max media dock. Back then those things were good. Ncards were the original slot-1 flash cards. No micro-sd slots, just built in flash memory, and you had to plug it into your computer via a usb adaptor for the gba slot :)

@[member='Zerosuit connor'] We're derailing the conversation now and drawing attention away from the OP's question.

@[member='Vulpes Abnocto'] That is correct, R4iGold3Ds is a brilliant option, its low priced and very good quality. But th DS2 is a good option for GBA and Ds games, as well as homebrew.

Thank you again.

That link was great. Actually helped me find the old site I got my Simply from.

Sadly something is wrong with their site and it won't process orders, but having the list meant I could find another site to order
from and my DS2 has been ordered.

Does anyone know how much using the emulation features for the Supercard DSTwo will effect the battery life of the 3ds?

I'm not sure if it's going to be worth me moving up from the Acrekard 2i. I like the idea of the gba emulation but the battery life is a cost.

If you really want GBA and SNES emulation then I should upgrade to a DSTwo yep.

The DSTwo was the only flashcard that supported Pokemon black and white at the japanese release.
So as far as game compatibility, I think that the DSTwo would be superior.
