I am running into the same dilemma I'm using a 128 right now and already 50% full and I have internal on the switch full with just Indies and few 2-4gb games
I'm thinking about buying a 128gb and a rcm jig for hacking but will that be enough memory? Should I try to get a 200gb instead?

I was thinking about it too,128gb will fit around 10 big games but 200gb is still super expensive so im just sticking to my existing 64gb Sds until a good deal comes out .

Um... Games are like 3-5 gigs. mario kart is 7 gigs. 10 mario karts is 70 gigs. assuming that you didn't scrub it.
i could be wrong, but i dont think there is anything bigger than mario.

128gb or 256gb is fine. i went with 128 bc i have a shit ton of sd cards lying around.
definitely get something at least class 10 for that minimum 10megs write speed. but yea, sandisk for sure. i get about 120 megs a sec on my 128gb

I think the biggest size game is zelda that is 13gb but there may be one that is like 14gb or 15gb could be wrong on that but ether way a 128gb card would work fine and you can switch out games as needed if you really got it full.

But if you factor in future dlc for games and double pack games like Rez/Bayonetta they have dlc only game.

there is no way to install dlc's or even download them for the games as of now and if you all ready own them and have them installed like me with the zelda dlc's no one knows if that would even work with the games you download/rip and put on the card.

That's actually a good price thanks

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

they've just recently priced down 200gb carts on both us and most european amazon shops.

they really seem to be the current sweet spot
Yeah i didn't realise that... the 200gb is a good deal, the 256 gb not so much

Good luck homebrew community with Filling up SD cards. The size of most games is big, not to mention some can't even fit on the cart and need downloads from server just to play. Better hope you don't have that same problem wii u and 3ds has with the 300 title limit. :creep:
