What kind of relation do you have with your animal?

I'd like to launch a poll to know what kind of relation peoples of temp have with their animals
And I'm not talking about clown fish ou hamster
I'm talking about dogs, cats, furrets, horses, etc
Animals that live long
What kind of relation do you have with them?
Are they brothers/sisters?
Son/daughter?
Maybe just friend?
What are they to your eyes?

If I have an animal it is there because it amuses me or serves a purpose. I find the very notion that some would consider it a sibling, child or similar quite disturbing.

I don't have any kind of relations with my animals, because that's wrong. Don't fuck animals, kids.

But my relationship I suppose is just member of the family I guess, I imagine it'd be pretty weird for people to actually think of their animal as a "Son" or sibling or whatever.
