I put this up on reddit as well, reposting here because I think this is a better place for discussion.

So, I've been playing dumped games last couple of weeks and I noticed that in certain games (I've had it happen on P4G and TOCS1) when you try to save game, it shows all previous save files are empty and some error when trying to save, this is fixed by closing and reopening the game. It doesn't matter if you've put the devide to sleep or you have been playing it continuously.

Now what happened yesterday was I was playing TOCS between 3:30 to 4:15 AM and I got the error. Thinking back I remembered it happening on P4G when I used to play in the early morning. So I decided to test it again today, and it happened again somewhere between 4:02 - 4:07AM. I did try to change the time from settings back to 4:00 Am to retrigger the bug, but it didn't happen, my guess is there is an internal clock that doesn't change (unless the console is rebooted after changing time in settings? I didnt try that yet) and to support this hypothesis try changing your time in settings, then open P4G if you have it, and at the title screen go into 'TV Listing' it will continue to show the original time.

Anyhow, this got me thinking about the chinese guy who asked people to change settings time to 12 hours clock (mine has always been 12hours clock and I manually set time) and to delete some file under save folder. I havent tried it yet but I'll do so and report back if it's successful.

TL;DR- The save bug is triggered EVERYDAY AT THE SAME TIME irrespective of if you keep the console in sleep mode or are actively playing it. I do not understand the significance of the time it occurs at, maybe it's the time I last rebooted, or the time I installed the game, or something else entirely.

I cannot say if it is a vitamin issue or something with HENkaku, I advice others to also try to pinpoint the approximate time the bug appears. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will understand why this happens. But I think this proves the bug doesn't simply occur because of sleeping the console, it happens whenever the game is kept open (active or standby) and you cross that certain moment after which it bugs out.

The PS Vita has is some weird clock bugs that happen when time is set manually and/or not Internet connection is used for a while.

I bought my first vita when my internet was down, I played the welcome park minigames and got a trophy, when my internet was up and running again I configured the PSN account and sync'd the trophy, but then I noticed that it had no timestamp after being sync'd to PSN, even tho my vita's time was setted up correctly, people know this now but I mention it because this might have something to do with the clock bug that happened later.

Fast forward 4 years and HENkaku gets announced so I bought a PS TV, updated to 3.60, sync'd the clock/date with the internet settings and set up my PSN account, I wanted to make sure all this was done properly so I could play on the go with my vita and simply put the same memory card when I'm home and continue playing where I left off while still getting proper timestamps on the earned trophies (God Eater games are the bomb when played like this :D)

And a clock bug happened... So I put my PS TV offline since the paranoia of "Sony will get you and ban hammer you", I turned on/off my PS TV whenever I play but never unplugged it from the power source, time and date was always displayed correctly and trophies earned were working like they should.

When PSN Spoof emerged I reconnected online and sync'd both systems trophies, there was a few trophies that I had already sync'd to PSN using my Vita and displayed proper timestamps on PSN, when I resync'd the trophies earned on the PS TV (that also had proper timestamps aside from playing offline), the timestamps on PSN somehow dissapeared, after I resync my Vita again they all went away, locally too, now I got a bunch of trophies with missing tiimestamps while others do in the same game... Not that is a big deal anyways but...

I think this is where the clock being offline is messing things up, even tho the time and date was always setted up properly before going offline looks like something related to the clock stopped working properly and PSN didn't know how to react other than wiping all conflicting timestamps lol

That clock bug might be related to the save bug, where the system has lost track of the time and is unable to save again because ingame doesn't know the real time?... Idk, just throwing my 2 cents it may help people figure out what is going on.

I caught the bug triggering on video today. It's happening at 4:05 am daily on my console. Video shows the saves visible at 4:04 and disappear at 4:05am. Sorry about the bad cam and focus :P

    Did you try this?:
Set time to 12hr time format
backup and delete the file llist.dat ux0:user/00/savedata_backup/
    make a folder at ux0:user/00/savedata_backup/ named list.dat
    looks like this ux0:user/00/savedata_backup/list.dat/

Since I did that, savebugs didn't appear for quite some time. Check if it still happens at 4:05 am.

I plan to try it today. I'll report back. As you can see, my time is already in 12hr. I just have to replace the file with a folder.
