Hacking What is xbdm plugin actually for?

I disabled the xbdm plugin since it was preventing PES2015 from working. And now I am wondering what it is actually for, what would I need to enable it for?
What functions require it to be enabled?
If anyone knows.

It's a plugin that brings some XDK features to RGH/JTAG consoles.
It's not needed unless you want the screenshot feature (FSD has it by default and I think Aurora as well) or do any real time memory editing.

Cause I dont use any of that. And I dont need screenshots.

Wait, do you need it to just move files on your HDD?

It patches dev features into a retail, this is used for Xbox 360 neighborhood, it essentially lets a retail use official m$ devtools

You have to wonder why it is on by default since I have seen numerous people, on various sites, complaining that they couldnt get certain games working and it is because of this plugin being on by default. And most people wont need it, and those who do will know about it.

You can remove the plugin from dashlaunch.
Just edit the launch.ini and delete the plugin from your HDD.
