Hacking What is wrong with my DS Lite top screen?HELP

Hi guys,

I'm sick of it that I can't play my DS normally anymore so I'm asking for help.

DETAILS OF PROBLEM:


-The upperscreen will ONLY work if I push the upperscreen as far the DS can handle with the L-button pushed hard in. IF i let go of the screen and/or let go of the L-button the problem returns.

-The upperscreen isn't functioning good anymore, you'll see just a blank screen but you can see the animations on it so you can see (vague) things on it.

Please help me my fellow GBA-temp mates!

I want to play my DS normally again!

Replace the top screen, the cable runs past the Left button - hence the pushing of the button makes it work

not really an expert but it might be the ribbon cable that runs to the top screen...you should hope it's that as is the cheapest thing...

Definitely the ribbon cable. Either get it replaced or replace it yourself. The DIY method is ~$10, Dealextreme.

The other way is ~$50+, depending on if you have warranty or not.
