Long ago, like around 20 years ago, there were no "non-binary" or "genderfluid" or "queer" or all these shits
We only had LGB and we started talking about the T

I'd like to know though, what is the difference between the T back then (Transexuals) and the T today (Transgender)?
Because transgender almost seem "annoyed" to be called transexual today... is there really a difference?

In Mexico there's three kinds of "T's"

Transgénero
Transexual
Travesti

Transgender is someone who's transitioning.
Transexual is someone who feels different.
Travesti is someone who dresses.

Did you also knew LGB used to beat the shit out of T's for not being "normal"? (neither gays nor lesbians)

Transexual isn't inherently offensive, it's just an outdated term, mostly used by bigoted people nowadays.
They essentially mean the same thing.

That's discrimination yo.
as it pleases you.
But for us, travestism isnt part of the T
However, identifying as the opposite gender, as in just identifying, not having the surgery, that is part of the T

Because travestism can be many other things, it can be part of a job for example

Transexual isn't generally a common term anymore used to describe trans people, nowadays its an offensive term to discriminate them, used by bigoted idiots. Even though they mean the same, you should not use it in any way shape or form.

Who made you the police of deciding if its offensive? Some people still use it but most prefer transgender. Hell there is a full Wikipedia article about it! The history, the medical terms etc.

I don't even trust Wikipedia as a reliable resource.

I didn't really need to hear your opinion on this. Don't even trust Wikipedia as a reliable resource.

WHO is probably better then. It's still used in medicial terms today.
Or some government pages?

Some "Do and Don't" from NY

People still use transsexual. It's not common but it do exist.

I totally agree with you
My boss totally lacked of respect while talking to me, and she told me that she is always respectful when talking to me.
Like... She is the one who decides what is respectful?
