FBI can install and uninstall anything
BBM can only install and uninstall cias, cant uninstall system titles
You can play GBA games, search the forum for AGB_FIRM patches
DS games are only playable with DS flashcarts

Use the search function next time

they are different things though.
Are they? or has one been repackaged to seem as something new....

If i make something, i name it. If i mod something already made, i name it the original with "modded by x" added in the title. Unless my ego is in the way....

BBM is repackaged devmenu from SDK. FBI is open source alternative which use the ARM11 SVCs directly and is capable of installing/removing system titles (needed to downgrade for restoring MSEThax). Well, early versions of devmenu can operate on system titles, but BBM is a newer version of devmenu so it can't. Anyway you should use FBI.

something i came across with FBI is, if you boot straigh into HBL without entiring the SYSNAND once, you might fail to install some CIAs.
so the solutio is really simple, boot your 3DS into your SYSnand once, they use whatever method you have to entire HBL(ofc not the restart method, you can use cubicninja or browserhax)
then start using FBI to install that CIA.

i found this when i am trying to do a (flashcart-free crack on my 9.1N3DS)

Weird, because I only have Devmenu on my system and it had no problem installing system titles on my sysnand. Isn't the DS card fix system files? Because gateway has you install that with devmenu. Isn't the tiger & Cver stuff system files? Had no problem installing them for eshop access. Am I mistaken with what system files are?
